By creating an account or using PaceBeats, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
PaceBeats is an AI-powered triathlon training platform that generates personalized training plans, provides athlete assessments, and syncs with third-party fitness platforms. The service is provided “as is” and is intended as a training tool, not a substitute for medical advice.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with others or use the platform for unauthorized purposes.
4. Training Disclaimer
PaceBeats provides AI-generated training recommendations based on your data and sports science principles. These recommendations are not medical advice. You should consult a healthcare professional before starting any training program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.
You train at your own risk. PaceBeats is not liable for injuries, illness, or other adverse outcomes resulting from following AI-generated training plans. Always listen to your body and seek medical attention when needed.
5. Data & Integrations
By connecting third-party services — Garmin Connect and, if you choose, Strava — you authorize PaceBeats to access the supported training and biometric data described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time.
When Garmin workout sync is enabled, PaceBeats may send approved planned workouts to Garmin on your behalf. The optional Strava connection is used for supported activity imports, not outbound workout publishing. You remain responsible for reviewing a workout before completing it.
6. Intellectual Property
The PaceBeats platform, including its AI models, algorithms, design, and content, is owned by PaceBeats. Your training data remains yours. AI-generated training plans are licensed to you for personal use.
7. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
